The ability to shoot this photo will soon disappear as the Alaskan Way Viaduct will be replaced with a tunnel in 2018, then torn down in 2019, eliminating most traffic light trails in this scene. I wanted to catch this defining Seattle scene before it ceases to exist.

I decided to go out and practice some street photography on halloween day. it was early afternoon when I walked down to Cafe Umbria in Occidental Park with my gear. I ordered a latte and sat down at a table outside to see how many people I could capture in their costumes.
