The Learning Continues…

So I’ve revisited a few photos from the past year and applied what I’ve learned in Lightroom since then. The hope was to take what I felt were good photos and try to make them better, possibly even worth printing, since I liked the views.

These two were taken on a very cold February morning from West Seattle. All were obviously during blue hour at various stages of sunrise. The first had a great reflection of the lights on the water but I wanted to increase the reflections without causing the actual lights to blow out or affect the sky. The second and third both had features I liked and disliked. I liked the lights on the second but preferred the look of the sky in the third, taken about 10 minutes later.

Ultimately this is what I’ve ended up with.
